Bulk Billing: Doctors Taylors Lakes (Wyperfeld Medical Clinic) operates under the Medicare ‘Bulk Billing’ system and most fees and procedures are bulk billed to Medicare. There are no additional fees for patients under Medicare. To be bulk billed, it is essential that you bring your current Medicare card with you. Please also present any pension or concession cards you may have.
Patients without a current Medicare card will be charged a fee of $70 for short consult and $110 for long consult. This must be paid at the time of the consultation. Some services, including medical screenings for work or vehicle licenses cannot be bulk billed and will incur a fee of $110 for Drivers Medicals. Please discuss this with our Reception team prior to booking your appointment.

Recall and Reminders: A computerised recall and reminder system is available and used for follow up of any medical conditions. If you do not wish to participate in this please inform your doctor
It is important that you make us aware if your contact details change, this will ensure you will always receive up to date information.
Test Results: Your doctor checks results daily. Results will not be given out over the phone. Please make a follow up appointment with us to discuss all results.
Interpreter: An interpreter service can be accessed for your consultation. We would advise against using a family member as an interpreter as information could be miscommunicated. Please notify us prior to your appointment to arrange an interpreter.
Cultural Background: Our reception team member or your doctor may ask your cultural background. This information assists us with preventative health outcomes.
Emergency Contact Details: If you need to update your patient file please see a front desk team member or your doctor when you arrive for you appointment, this way our doctors can always get in contact with you or your next of kin/emergency contact if necessary.
Referrals: Your doctor is competent at handling common health problems. When necessary, you may be referred to a specialist who is required for further investigations and opinions. You can discuss this openly with your doctor.
Appointments: Appointments can be made by telephoning the clinic or online. If you think you will need more than 15 minutes with your doctor, please make a longer appointment. Please note: Appointments for circumcision is not available through our online booking system; please call the Clinic to book your appointment for this service.
Emergencies will take priority over appointments, you will be advised if your doctor is delayed.
